Voice Podcast

In 2019 the Student Association of St. Lawrence College, Kingston started a podcast. I was its first editor and sound technician. I was responsible for editing the first twenty-odd episodes that aired before the pandemic started, after which the podcast went online and Zoom episodes were captured and presented unedited.

Editing included syncing separately captured audio and video sources, introducing name plates for hosts and guests, cutting episodes for time and topic, developing the intro music, writing the intro and outro copy and more.

Vlogs

I was a regular (almsot) daily vlogger back in the Before Times. I record and edited mostly direct-to-camera videos of me talking about a topic or my day, or thoughts on life. They make up the bulk of the videos on my YouTube channel.

Other Videos

Over the years I’ve made videos for a variety of different projects and events. On the left you’ll see some videos that I’ve made, including:

1. A video pitch for the McDougall Family’s Grant program that was created for The Back Kitchen on Amherst Island to try to secure funds for an accessible ramp.

2. A guide for users for the Marketing for Good virtual trade show that helps them set up their “booth” pages on the website. Especially useful as many of our hosts hadn’t used the WordPress platform before.

3. A video guide showing how to set up a newsletter through WordPress include a step-by-step walk-through of setting up the plugin, getting users to sign up, and sending out a newsletter.

4. An abridged video cut of the Frozen movie created to be played on a Santa Claus Parade float that was Frozen themed.
